Still creating......

I scrapbooked today! This is the first time since September last year. My scrapping has slowed down for a few reasons. I spend more time in my garden, I have developed a love for sewing and I have immersed myself back into my sports. I also realised that if I scrapped every moment of my kid's lives then we would need to build another machinery shed to house all the albums. Going over the albums with family recently I was also reminded that the pages that meant the most to us all were those that contained 'the story'. So, today I scrapped and I got the stories down and pretty much threw them together in no time.....I didn't care much for design etc but enjoyed how it all fell together.

Some boy cards from the left overs from Ryan's birthday layout below...

A very recent photo of Elise using some of the gorgeous BG papers Jordie kindly sent me...love them!

Joe's tenth birthday....

Patrick meeting Glenn McGrath at Milo cricket....

Ryan's sixth birthday...

I recovered some canvases for my lounge room a few weeks ago...

I made this apron for myself last week. It ties with a beautiful big bow at the back!

One of my favourite skirts which I made a few months ago. It has a zipper at the back...my first attempt which, I am happy to report, was successful! It could do with an iron!!

Thanks to Kikki K I sorted my office, two weeks ago, which has made the bookwork a much more pleasant experience. I only wished I had've taken a before shot...it was a disgrace!

Some girl cards I made today with the leftovers from Elise's layouts,

A summer top I made about 5 months ago....love the lime green paisley. I plan to make a couple more of these...

A sweet top for Elise. I purchased this Leila & Ben pattern from Etsy...

One of the many bags I have had fun making. I have given most away as gifts but this one is mine to keep.

This little bag pattern is from The Janelle Wind Collection. It is so sweet. I made it about 6 months ago for one of Elise's friends.

The first little dress I attempted months ago. This is known as the pillow case dress and it's so easy to put together. I have made a few of these to giveaway. Hanging on the stool is my favourite bag of all. I use this 90% of the time because you can just throw it across your shoulders and away you go! Definitely want to make another one of these in a blue print.

The dress version of the Leila & Ben pattern...

So even though I have been awol with my blogging, I have still been keeping my hands busy with plenty of creating. There is more but I definitely think I have hit overload with this post. Thanks for stopping by....
